UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
Open Gaga Classes, Week of February 20
During the week of Batsheva Dance Company's performance run at Novellus Theater (YBCA), various company members will conduct the following events in our studios:
- Tuesday, February 21, Gaga Class, 6 to 7 pm, followed by a Q&A session from 7:15 to 8 pm
- Wednesday, February 22, Gaga Class, 5 to 6 pm (two classes to be conducted simultaneously)
- Wednesday, February 22, Batsheva dancers will teach excerpts from repertory, 6:15 to 7:30 pm; Note: As a pre-requisite, you must take one of the 5 pm Gaga classes first.
- Thursday, February 23, Opening night for Batsheva, no classes.
- Friday, February 24, Gaga Class, 12 noon to 1 pm (two classes to be conducted simultaneously)
- Saturday, February 25, Gaga Class, 12 noon to 1 pm (two classes to be conducted simultaneously), followed by a Q&A session from 1:15 to 2 pm.
Very important--Please Note: Pre-registration is strongly recommended as classes will be strictly limited to 35 people. To pre-register: email Megan Kurashige at Megan@SFconservatoryofDance.org. She will reply to confirm whether or not space is still available and send you payment instructions if it is. Only the first 35 people (per class) who submit payment will be pre-registered, while all others will be wait-listed. Those people pre-registered must then register in the studio no later than 15 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin or their spot will be given to the next person on the wait-list. Refunds to anyone arriving late enough to forfeit their spot will only be made up until the beginning of the class in question. Classes will begin promptly on schedule and nobody will be permitted to enter the studios after they've begun. Studios will be open for registration 30 minutes before classes begin.

New Year's Workshop with Summer Lee Rhatigan and Alex Ketley
Annual 4-day workshop conducted by Summer Lee Rhatigan and Alex Ketley, designed to refresh and inspire dancers, featuring a 2.75 hour technique class with Summer and an afternoon of building and examining choreography with Alex.
