Video Audition Requirements
Academic year 2007-2008/Summer Intensives 2008
The deadline for receipt of the complete video audition application for the Summer Intensives is March 1st, 2008.
Accepted formats: VHS & DVD Length: 10 minutes
- A spoken introduction by the dancer
- Show 4 exercises at the barre; 5 minutes of center work through Grande Allegro, and Pointe for women, (must be accompanied by music)
- Please include any performance footage which is recent, or solo work in the classroom in which the dancer is clearly shown
Along with your Video/DVD you must send:
- 2008 Registration Form
- A letter of intent describing your artistic goals
- A resume that includes dance training, teachers, performances and choreography studied
- A head-shot photograph
- Notification by email of your application having been sent
- Registration fee of $25, cash or a check made payable to SF Conservatory of Dance
